Master Certified Professional Business Coach (MCPBC)
Michael brings more than 40 years of business leadership experience to his work with C-Suite Executives, Business Owners, and their Emerging Leaders. Michael is well-versed in Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Channel Programs, Business Systems, Human Resources, and many, many other business disciplines. Also, he is now Master Certified as an MCPBC by the PBCA.
Michael had a long and successful career as an executive in the high technology industry before becoming a Certified Professional Business Coach and a contributing member of the Professional Business Coaches Alliance in 2013. Most recently, Michael became a Master Certified Professional Business Coach within the PBCA coaching industry. Michael’s involvement with the PBCA enables the entire coaching staff at MBCC to avail themselves of the combined intellectual property, tools, training and continuing education opportunities provided by the PBCA.
Michael’s true calling in life is leadership development. Michael has developed hundreds and hundreds of very talented leaders over his career, and he thoroughly enjoys working with C-Suite Executives, their Leadership Teams and their Emerging Leaders to develop their leadership skills so that those leaders can grow the business profitably and ensure market leadership. Michael has created a curriculum to help his coaches to develop the leadership abilities of Emerging Leaders, and this exciting program has been adopted all over the United States, and Michael licenses the Emerging Leader coaching program to certified coaches all over the United States and in Canada.
Michael lives a life on the go, splitting his time between homes in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota and the Tucson area in Arizona. Michael enjoys life with his wife, Jeannie, and his three sons, Jake, Zack and Luke, and works hard to maintain a healthy balance in his life and in his work. In addition, Michael and Jeannie have three dogs, Layla, Dakota, and Winnie, who provide outstanding companionship for the entire family. When Michael is not working, he is often on a Mountain Bike, a downhill ski slope or hiking trail in the Mountains, swimming long distances or perfecting his golf game. Another passion for Michael is attending great concerts all over the world. Michael counts seeing Van Morrison in Scotland in 2012, The Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival at Madison Square Garden (with Jake) in 2013, and seeing Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood in London in 2009 as highlights.
Michael has a passion to love his clients and to coach his clients to serve their customers in a game-changing way. Michael believes his role is to make investments into his clients so that they build equity into their business by executing the business plan with rigor and distinction. A frequent blogger, podcaster, and public speaker, Michael has dozens of insightful leadership and business topics that he enjoys presenting to his audiences in a variety of media to expand the boundaries of thought leadership.
