Sharon Brown has joined forces with Michael Beach Coaching & Consulting. Sharon is a Health and Wellness Coach and a Mayo Clinic Health and Wellness Training program graduate. She’s also an Optavia Certified Coach, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Certified Les Mills Body Balance Instructor. Sharon is passionate about helping others to live their best life possible. She helps clients turn the impossible into “I am possible”. Sharon specializes in coaching adults hoping for better wellness and health. Clients assess the areas of their life to find opportunities for improvement and then together with Sharon, make a plan to move themselves forward for improved life satisfaction.

Professional Experience and Life’s Purpose
Sharon is confident, whether working in private, public, or as a small business owner who has assisted organizational leaders in strategies to improve corporate culture. These diverse environments have created a collage of professional experiences contributing to the strengths she uses when working with clients. Much of her work includes improving the lives of employees and community members. She has led employee wellness programs, created, and promoted outdoor recreation wellness and yoga activities. As a health and wellness coach, she easily connects and engages with others putting them at ease to be themselves. She is compelled to guide others to transform their habits to progress toward their desired and self-identified best self.
Health and Wellness Coaching
Sharon’s Health and Wellness coaching is a new paradigm for helping people become masters of their wellness, leading healthy lifestyles and accomplishing their health goals. Through fostering a positive mindset around health and well-being, she empowers and motivates her clients to become their own expert. She has the tools and knowledge to share with her clients about holistic health and how to enact sustainable behavior change. Through her calm, helping, patient, modest, and laid-back demeanor, she creates a space where clients can engage in the exploration of their desires, values, and strengths. Through a partnership approach, the client determines SMART goals to help them move into new habits of health toward their stated best self. She is eager to help, loyal, and makes an excellent team player. She’s a patient listener, trustworthy, and balanced between tasks and people. She is very persistent in seeing tasks through to completion. She places her clients at the center of conversations and is a peaceful initiator. She is an expert at helping others to identify barriers that may be getting in their way of achieving their ultimate healthy self.
Sharon’s values of fairness, gratitude, inner peace, trust, and patience drive her actions and lend themselves well to health and wellness coaching. Her character strengths of appreciation of beauty and excellence, social intelligence, hope, humility, and kindness are at the forefront of her thinking, feeling, and behaving in ways that benefit herself and others.
She is happily married to the love of her life for over 20 years. They’ve raised two boys and their family has grown to include a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Their dog just turned 16 years old and still enjoys running down the path on their way home from their morning walks. She enjoys being outdoors walking in beautiful parks. Time with friends on their pontoon is a great summer delight. She’s energized by working out to yoga, cardio, and strength training classes. She thoroughly enjoys teaching yoga and meditation, grateful for the ability to share her passion. Other activities that bring her joy are traveling, reading, visiting with friends and family, and playing with their grandchildren.
